Bridging the Opportunity Gap

The Bridging the Opportunity Gap Program through the New England Farm Workers' Council provides services to the Department of Youth Services' youth in regards to educational assistance and work experience. The BOG Program offers 8 hours of career readiness based on the Empower Your Future Curriculumn with a five week work expereince based on their career interest. Youth will participate in the summer BOG Program during the months of July, August, and September; we will also offer the non- summer portion of our program starting in October through June. NEFWC will serve 15 Department of Youth Services in Hampden County.
